Wrongdoing?
"They got what they had coming to them!"
Does that sound like anything you've heard lately? How about anything you've said lately? These days, hurting other people seems like some sort of human sport. If television is any reflection of our culture, then almost anything a person says or does almost begs someone else to fire off a "comeback!" And it's not just with words either. Leave something of almost any value at all laying around at school, or at the mall, or just about anywhere. If it's not gone in one minute flat, it's probably because nobody saw it. And what about really hurting people. What about telling somebody you'll do something, and then letting them down--or telling them you won't do something, and then doing it? God shows His great anger for this type of sin when He repeatedly speaks about being honest and keeping our word. As Christians, we've got to be very careful to remember a truth the world has long forgotten. When you sin against another person, you are not only sinning against that person, but you are sinning against God Himself.
"The Lord said to Moses, 'Say to the Israelites: "When a man or a woman wrongs another in any way and so is unfaithful to the Lord, that person is guilty and must confess the sin he has committed. He must make full restitution for his wrong...'" Numbers 5:5-7a
