MY Sins?
The first thing a person must do before they can begin to heal is admit their faults. Alcoholics who deny they are hooked cannot be helped, and sinners who deny their sin are on their own with that sin. In my estimation, this is one of the major reasons the church is so powerless in many situations today. Far too many of those who call themselves part of the Body of Christ are caught in sin and deny it to His face. We all sin, and we need to acknowledge that fact. Then, we need to confess our specific sins to the One all sin offends! Then, and only then, will we see true healing in the Body! If we proceed with anything less than honesty, then we are not Christ-followers. This leaves only deceived Saints or willful liars.
"For I know MY transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge." Psalm 51:3-4 (Emphasis mine)
